Styling question: use spit mk XVI canopy (above) or 1/144 phantom canopy (below). The stabilos are to be trimmed to fit...;-)

The business end: B-29 props fit perfectly and top it of with some mossie spinners (4 bladed).

Njoy!

Oh, I like that alot  Reminds me a bit of the Pond Racer.

Old Wombat

I prefer the Spit canopy but the Toom canopy looks a little lower, which is more in line with the racing aesthetic.

Good looking little beastie, so far.

Wonderful triplex-boomer! Great imagination, turning a BlackWidow in such a direction...

Ahem, the Black Widow here is very different from an elongated P-61 (see below), congratulations in inventing new shapes!

Hahaha thanks gentlemen!

@old Wombat: Ok, the Toom's canopy it'll be!
@ Tophe& Jalles: Thanks and the body shape is more Pond racer but in size it's more P-61. So a mix and match. The name was found as decal from an 1/25 Gasser style hotrod. The resemblance occurred to me later when you posted the drawing of the P-61 fast freighter version

Wow! Super Pond! I like this a lot!

I'm getting a strong Star Wars (Episode 1,2 or 3) vibe, particularly from these pics.

Good work.
Can't wait to see it done.

AeroplaneDriver

That is absolutely gorgeous!     Though I do think it might need a tad more rudder if an engine quits...

What are the materials?

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

63cpe

Thanks gentlemen!
I didn't know that Miles design! The resemblance is cunning!

@AeroplaneDriver: The are going to be extra rudders on the end of each boom. They'll be put on once psr is done. otherwize too fragile..
Parts used are: Heller Constellation engines, XFY-1 intakes, 1/100 DC-9 wings, 1/144 White knight two fuselage turned upside down/ tail cut off and turned 180 degrees, Balsa wood for the booms, 4x F-84 tailplanes (to get the correct length), some styrene and a 1/144 F-4 canopy.
