No need to explain it's  work in progress....

Can you move the wings forward? I can envision certain mass distribution problems if you can't.

Funky idea, though!

Thank gentlemen!

@Old Wombat; not wing can't get any futher forward. Neither can the engine move backward... I guess the R3350's are kinda lumpy engines...

You need a gull wing but not in the usual plane. Sweep the inner part of the wing forward then add the straight wing.

There's no structural reason why the leading edge of the wing shouldn't be forward of the rear edge of the engine cowling. The main spar, at around 1/3 chord, could pass immediately aft of the main engine bulkhead, which would mean the leading edge could move forward a couple of feet.

Your right. Import thing to me, is to retain the Buffalo's typical landing gear. So, The leading edge will be moved forward.  Some styrene strips will sort it.

Nah, think moving the wings forward makes a more pleasing shape.

That looks dangerous.. Already saw it in the Pond Racer thing's background and wondered what it was...?

3350? It sounds like a suicide machine. I like it!

Yep - looks like somebody said the Gee-Bee was the most dangerous racing plane ever built and somebody else said "hold my beer..."

Considering its a Brewster, was it built by a quiet kid from Jersey?
