From today's Shuttleworth Show, an S&M Stalwart kit to replace the one that was stolen from the SIG stand at the 2017 Telford show.

It's destined to be a 'tow tug' for my Martin Monterey flying boat eventually.

Plus a whole lot of odds and ends like Tamiya tape etc.

It's a nice little kit, Kit, just watch out for the back end especially around the exhaust.

I went to a reasonably-nearby regional show today, manned a stand with the IPMS NL Scratchbuilding SIG.

Acquisitions:
Revell 1:144 Typhoon twoseater
circle cutter

AeroplaneDriver

A few goodies waiting after a weekend getaway to the coast...

HobbyBoss 1/48 Red Arrows Hawk T.1 (on sale from Squadron for $25!)
Hasegawa 1/48 A-4C all the way from Japan

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Dizzyfugu

Won an Italeri 1:72 A-4M + F-5E combo on ev!lbay, for just EUR 8,-. No boxes, but the kits are complete.

zenrat

Dropped into the LHS today to grab some evergreen styrene rod and came away with a 1/25 AMT AMC Pacer Station Wagon.

I've been eyeing this for a while because it has parts for a custom panel van.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The custom Pacer looks cool!

Eagerly awaited kit(s) arrived today.
Takom 1/72nd scale Russian army tractor set. Has a KZKT-537L and MAZ-537. As soon as I saw this kit, I just had to have one, as Soviet era vehicles are a favourite of mine. I will have to source a trailer for one of them, maybe a tank low loader, the other could well be a SAM launch vehicle.

I'm not sure that even a custom job could improve the looks of a Pacer, it's almost beyond saving!  :o

Did any make it over here in the UK,  as the only time I have seen one was on Wheeler Dealers the TV show.

I've seen few, yes, usually near USAF bases.

Their fundamental problem in a RHD country is that one door is larger than the other, the WRONG one for this country!

From Colin at Freightdog, a nice little set of wings and burner to turn a Hunter into a Super Hunter!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The Wooksta!

Awaiting a set of Lincoln wheels from Freightdog for a Lancaster project that's nearing completion - the Paragon cloned wheels I have are just too slim for the Revell Lancaster it's based on.

And ebay tells me I've won an Airways Vickers Viscount.  Would have much preferred a Vanguard but they're rarer than rare.
