Well even from the photo it's evident that it's much more accurate than the average Kitech/Zhengdefu/Income/etc. kit ;D

Outstanding!

That's the Senior National Champion model for Telford's SMW 2019 right there!  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Space Shuttle didn't have that many windows.  And the flashing red light was further back.  Poor job doing their research there.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Another book to the collection arrived today. Complete directory of military vehicles. Paper back and covers vehicles from ww2, up to modern day, and from all around the world. It has lots of stuff in it that doesn't usually get covered too.

Okay so I spotted this on Ebay, posted it on one of the Found Whiffs threads and forgot about it, but then somebody else found it independently, and when I looked, it was still on ebay! How anyone can resist a four-engined 757 Space Shuttle is beyond me... Now of course, there are those who may argue that a 757 hasn't got four engines and isn't a Space Shuttle, but I would ask those nitpickers to direct their attention to the side of the box where it clearly states "MODEL OF THE REAL STYLE", and ask themselves: would a respectable Chinese company capable of this engineering marvel lie to you?

I have to report that assembly was easy but disappointingly quick, requiring no glue or fettling, and the paint and markings were pre-applied. Possibly the most difficult operation was fitting the batteries in the base, followed by the challenge of finding a suitably large area of smooth floor space for them to propel it around on. However, the flashing lights, police sirens and jaunty tune that it plays while doing this are more than ample reward, and are doubtless as authentic as the rest of this masterpiece.

Guffaw!   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Best review I've ever read!!!!

Funny labelling aside, it's a nice caricature of a 747-400.

zenrat

Any chance of a video of it in action?

Please and thank you.

Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

A decent mix of stuff:

Going to turn this into a civilian Gunship. I'll mount some howitzers in it then it will be an avalanche mitigation airplane.

That LS BD-5 is a lovely little kit, or kits as there's two of them in the box. Emphasis on the 'little' too as they are TINY. Even better, you get a set of LONG wings with them too.

I love them lil things. I have one other set of them(I just noticed they're two different boxings, nice! Didn't plan it that way but I'm glad) and I plan to get more any time I can find some within my margin. Some people ask the moon for them!

Just got my hands on a Heller 1/72 L-749 Constellation. Given that I usually gravitate to 1/144 kits... this one looks like a monster!
Thanks!

Brad, the Iskra looks a cute lil thing, too.
