Fresh back from the good show that is the one at the RAF Museum Cosford....

1/35 Takom FV432 Mk2/1
1/72 Sword F3H-2N/M Demon
1/72 Hasegawa F-104G 'CCV'
1/72 Sword SOC3 Seamew

1/72 AZ Model Stinson L-5 Sentinel [comes with two fuselages and canopies]
1/72 Sword FJ-3M Fury
1/72 Sword TF-9J Cougar
1/72 Sova M Jetstream 32ER [this is a rebox of the Amodel kit]

also found an ancient Xtraparts TF-102A conversion kit, and bought another desk item from the EBMA range.

managed to win an Eduard 1/72 Fokker DR.1 Triplane in the tombola.

Nice too see Steel Penguin, PR19_Kit, Mike McEvoy, Martin H and Richard.
Keeper of George the Cat.

Captain Canada

Stopped in at Dean's in Owosso, MI on my way home from Colorado. Snagged, all 72nd scale :

Hobbycraft Tracker

Minicraft Tracker

Hasegawa Mohawk

And one each of Minicraft F-102 and F-106

Also, my Scobie Doo Productions RCN Avenger set came in.

And whilst away, I stayed pretty modest in the modelling dept. Only grabbed a wee 144th scale F-23 and the Airfix refuelling set.

I didn't get any new kits from the Cosford show (as if I needed any.....) but I re-stocked on Tamiya tape and a couple of new, very small brushes. Also got some 'clear' paints for painting the tail lights on my brother's car model. I've never used it before so I bought two lots from different manufacturers.

Oh yes, I also picked up an F-16 conversion for the IDF version with the conformal tanks and the piggy-back electronics package, not that there's the SLIGHTEST chance of it being used on an F-16 mind you.  ;D

The one I saw was back in the 1960's (I'm thinking early 60's too) --- so couldn't be the newer replica.  My Dad only took us anywhere if it was a ' special occasion', but I can't remember what it was

Maybe what you saw was Little Willie?

No Jon, I'm quite sure about that. This one was really big and looked just like the A7V and you could put your head in through the shell holes to look inside of the thing. (at least I could get my head in 'cause I don't think I had hit my teens yet back then)

First views ? I will get one at MK hopefully
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

Ebay says I've won the Arii Cessna O-2 I was bidding on.  TBH, I have zero interest in the type - I do not do US aircraft AT ALL - but know some mates who are after this kit.  One is getting it (I know he hasn't got any) and I'll hand it over in front of the other (who has several) to wind him up.

And there i was reading the first part of that sentence and getting all excited thinking that you'd finally surrendered to the Viper's charm...

I don't have the requisite F-16 kit to go with the IDF bits.  ;D

Anyway, they only have short wings..................  ;)

;D It's weird, reading something from Kit where there's "F-16" in the sentence...

I recommend Acrylic clear paints.  I've tried both that and enamel and IMO acrylic is better as enamel tends to "glob up".
Gunze Sangyo Mr Color are my current favourites.  Although their clear orange is bit close to their clear red and I sometimes use clear yellow instead.

I went to a Model Car Club meeting last night and the bloke I give a lift to each month surprised me with the gift of a kit to say thank you.
It is a 1/12 Lindberg Fiat Dragster/Cabriolet.

And then today the postie brought me these from the bay of evil.
