Good score.  IME These can be hard to find.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

From ebay, two sets of Space 1999 Eagle transfers.

These are self-adhesive rather than water-slide, but they seem quite thin and fine. The main thing I want from them are the Moonbase Alpha logos for something else.

With their resin rations Dio Art accurately portray all aspects of the real thing...
...including taste.

On a diet ?  ;D Is there anything you can't by in the way of resin accessories now ?

Be interested in your views on the R-R when you get it.

Honestly don't know if I will succumb yet ? She's a big beast and I'm not sure where she would go after building.

Gentlemen, sorry for the late reply and thank you for the tips on the PPP!
I've recently joined the "Old Mold GB " in the Portuguese modelling forum with the Monogram 1/48 Spitfire IX and i believe that this is just the type of kit that will be perfect for me to use the PPP on. I don't want to engrave panel lines or sand away the raised detail that this kit has so it will be put to use, with attention to what you guys said.

Now, back to topic, i've been bad... very bad... spent around 200€ on kits since last Monday. I've been at home recovering cause i've cracked a couple of ribs last Sunday, while working at the vineyard's anual open door event but that's a long story for another thread...  :banghead:
I'd already bought the AFV Club Saeqeh and Kinetic F-16AM this month but as i'm gonna be spending so much money on the house very soon, i can't keep on spending money on kits so, i ordered some more stuff to close my model buying season for a while.
So, as i've said on an earlier post, i've ordered another AFV club kit, the 1/48 F-5E Tiger III at the same store from where the Saeqeh came from, and as that wasn't enough, i've also bought AFV's Swiss F-5E on ebay, managed to get a best offer price accepted, 10€ less than the listing price making that 31€ shipped... also bought on ebay, Academy's 1/48 KAI T-50 trainer and the 1/48 Hughes 500D TOW chopper, along with a Hobbyboss 1/72 UH-1C chopper. The Huey cost me 6,5€ shipped cause i won a 5£ voucher from ebay, supposedly for making my 145th transaction on there... i just couldn't say no to that... ;D
And after reading a review of the Academy 500D chopper, i bought a CMK resin conversion set for the AH-6F/J... So now, it's the waiting game.

Not quite a model but ...

A U-shaped desk 2100mm x 2700mm x 1800mm (maybe more J-shaped; I think those were the measurements, I'll confirm later) for the new modelling room;

(After 10 years of me taking up permanent residence over 1/4-to-1/3 of the dining table & the departure from the nest of 1 x daughter, SWMBO has finally seen the Light!)

Good quality wood veneered MDF for $80; has two drawers & an adjustable-height keyboard panel; needs some minor repairs before I put it together but they'll be done (later) today.

Bargain!

The first kit for a long time, the 1/144 Roden VC10 K4 from the club raffle at the IPMS-Seattle Spring Show,
not bad for a $5 investment.

Especially at the price they are in the shops, assuming one has a shop of course..........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards

It's great to get your own dedicated space  Means you can just pop in for the off 10/15 mins when the spirit takes you. Getting my own room completely changed the way I model.....for the better

Enjoy putting it up ; remember No Swearing  ;)
