They're probably already on Harro's building board.  ;D ;)

I've resisted so far, but who knows

After a resounding victory against the forces of 'Big Business', the NatWest Bank and Octopus Energy this morning, I rewarded my self with a Revell 1/72 F-15E Strike Eagle kit, the one that's a weapons kit with an aeroplane included as an extra.  ;)

I have plans for it that involve an all-metal finish in the service of a European Air Force which may require some changes in the shapes of its flying surfaces......  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

The Wooksta!

A cheeky bid on a lot comprising a trio of Spitfires and a decal sheet arrived yesterday.

It got there pretty fast, aside from the extra time spent in solitary.   ;D  By the end of whatever day it was I mailed it I was distracted and forget to mention it.   :o Cheers!!!!

Well I have three shuttle kits and two shuttle projects, although only one of them qualifies for the Engines More Or Less GB, and I havn't tracked down all the parts for that one yet. I have looked longingly at those complete decal sets that give you all the tile pattern, but since I haven't won the lottery, I won't be getting them any time soon...

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

An Airfix Shackleton MR.2 and Victor B.2 are now tucked away in the stash --- Looking at the plastic they seem to be very nice kits.

The Wooksta!

The Airfix Shackleton is a lovely kit.  There are many who complain about the fit.  I don't know which kit they're building as I haven't had any issues with the ones I've built/part started.

Really wish I could find the urge to get my 100 Group electronic warfare one to the paint stage.
