Received a Hasegawa F-16I Sufa yesterday from Hobbylink Japan. I plan on using the Sufa parts on an F-16XL. First I have to convert the XL to a two seater. Much cutting to be done.

What a coincidence... I received a Hasegawa Sufa a few weeks ago, bought for the same reason although i won't have the cutting work to do as i will be using it with the Lonestar resin conversion for the two seat XL. CFTs and spine will have to be extended but shouldn't be very hard to do.

I hope the resin kit has better seats than then the Hasegawa or Italeri kits. So hard to find a 1/72 kit with good seats. I'll be ordering resin replacements when I get around to starting this project.

The lovely postie lady handed me one of those 'plain wrapper' boxes from Colin Freightdog this morning. Deep Joy!

The contents included some Super Hunter wings, tails and stuff, a Firestreak Hunter conversion, Hunter resin landing gear, a Wessex fuselage extension and some Harrier intakes.

No. they aren't ALL going on the same Whiffed model!  ;)

Recent additions. All of these bought in 2019, save for the Viggen (a Christmas prezzie). Actually, they're the first kits I've bought in half a year or so. Mostly I've been selling kits. Got rid of another 200 or so.  :o Stash still good for two or three lives worth of building.

All 1/72. Of course.
Academy F-8E Crusader - can't have too many of those, right? No plans yet.
Academy AH-64D Apache - Brit version. Probably real world, but not sure. Got this one and the Hind on the Bay for about half of what the Apache alone usually retails for. Steal!
Hobby Boss Merkava IIID - probably real world. Looks kinda quick-build-ish, what with the tracks pre-assembled and the low parts count. Not too bad, though.
Revell (Zvezda) Mi-24V Hind-E - no plans yet.
Revell (MPM/Special Hobby) Gloster Meteor F.4 - Soviet? Italian? Itching to put a pair of early Sidewinders (or even Falcons) on her. So maybe some 1950s NATO air force? Would probably look better on an F.8, right? Maybe the F.4 turns Soviet after all. Big guns, then.  :dalek:
Revell (Hasegawa) Harrier GR.7/9 - slated for what-if. Got a GR.5 nose already. Need some Eduard BL755s. And maybe some nice muzzle brake to turn the GAU-12 pod system into something different.
Tarangus Saab JA 37 Viggen - finally a good kit of this magnificent machine.    Rather expensive, though. No weapons. Probably real world build.

And I... erm.. I bought a... feels dirty to admit... I bought a  1/48 scale kit.   :-\ There. I said it. Uagh! A Trumpeter 1/48 Su-15UM Flagon-G. Only bought it for the wings and these will go on a 1/72 Su-24, but still... It just feels... wrong. No, I won't turn to your Dark Side. My shade of dark suits me just fine. Thanks for the cookie, though.
Cheers,
Moritz

Don't worry about it I to have fallen victim to the 1/48 virus lately, an Airfix Walrus and Hunter. Plus I might get the Sea Fury....do you think it can be cured with modern medicine ?

Sadly -- no!  I've got a few 1/48th kits now, it started with the Tamiya Lancaster Grand Slam edition (my Dad was in 617 sqn at the time they were using the big bomb) and then I found the Airfix 617 sqn commemorative boxing had a 1/48th Panavia Tornado in with the 1/72 Lancaster and so it went on from they. I thought I would get a few 1/48th of my very favorite aircraft but the collection seems to be growing -----   :o

I did much the same when I got 'just a few of my favourites' in 1/35 armour...  ;)

Aggressor squadron aircraft, simulating a MiG-19. Paint it overall silver, but paint the front three(?) feet of the nose PRU blue so that it blends in with the sky and makes it look like it has a nose intake. You could also paint a pair of dark grey stripes on each wing to simulate the shadows of the wing fences. Big red stars of course, plus much smaller 'real' markings.

The Rat

From Wheels & Wings Hobbies in Toronto, the Academy 1/72nd P-40, just because I needed better ROCAF decals than the ones I tried to print myself. At $7.95 I would say that's a pretty good price.

Ebay has informed that I've won...

2 Eduard Spitfires - Weekend edition mk VIII and mk IXc
A Magna Vickers Vicking
A High Planes Beaufighter

And doing some digging for something else has unearthed a decal sheet for two seat Vampires I didn't know I'd bought.  Which is nice.

From Hannants arrived five sets of R.A.T.O.G units, had to buy five sets to suffice their postage system, which is a rigmarole. Anyhow, I can stick them on all three point defense interceptors if I can build three out of the parts I have.
Also found a book on the mig-21 in Bolton Waterstones, while I was there.

A whole bunch of stuff from the Cheshire Show, but all glues and tools and styrene rod and a small cutting mat, not one single kit.

But then I hardly need any, do I?  ;D

I'm so broke and out of money it's laughable. Truly!  ;D   It goes without saying that haven't been buying anything model related in quite a while now but I bought these a month and half ago and now they're here. They look great!!!   J-BOT decals for 737-300 Hooters and CC-137 Boeing 707 commemorative scheme.
