They're probably already on Harro's building board.  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

I'm intrigued by the bulk purchase of Flat Red

Nothing special, I just mix my own Hull Red & I like having a couple of spares of any colour lined up, just in case (&, so far, I haven't had a jar of Tamiya paint go "off" before I've finished it, with the exception of a couple of their metallic paints).

I understand

I've found that Xtracrylic has a very good shelf life as well. So far none has gone on me, touch wood, Lifecolor on the other hand ?

However I have some Humbrol Authentics which have to be almost 50 years old ? and they are still perfectly up to the job
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Haul from today's Coventry Show:

Attack 1/72nd Tatra V855 aerosan double pack (from Mike McEvoy)
Sword 1/72nd Lightning T Mk.4 (from Mike McEvoy)
Trumpeter 1/35th RF-8/GAZ-98 aerosan
Airfix Club 1/72nd Hurricane IID El-Alamein Anniversary (nicer 40mm guns than the AZ one I've got)
Revell 1/72nd Boeing X-32A JSF contender
Combat Kits 1/72nd resin Scottish Aviation Pioneer CC1

Books:
Profile 104: PZL P.23 Karas
AFV Weapons Profile 52: M47 Patton
AFV Weapons Profile 62: Commando, Twister and High Mobility Vehicles

I've actually already got the Twister profile, but for £2 I thought it needed to be in our world. If anybody wants it, you can have it for free, unless you live outside the UK in which case I'd appreciate you paying the postage (shouldn't be much: it's basically a sub-A4 pamphlet).

Was very restrained at the show today. Only  brought a single kit. This was the Sova M 1/72 Northrop Grumman Firebird UAV. But also quite a few aftermarket bits too.
Keeper of George the Cat.

Martin H

I was less than restrained at Coventry.

Matchbox Dassault Mystere.
Italeri MH-53J Pave Low III.
Hasegwa A-37A dragon fly
Academy TBM Avenger.
Allycat Basler Dakota conversion.
Allycat SAAF Turbo dak conversion.
Freightdog Tandem two seat hunter set (pair of)

The following were given to me free of charge by Mike McEvoy.
Huma Flettner FL282.
Mach2 WB-57F Canberra.

And a pair of removals from my stash, both to Geoff B.
Tamya Douglas Skyray.
Akitombo Blackburn Firecrest.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

I ordered two kits off of evil bay today. The Italeri/Revel/Tamiya Tornado F-3  and Mistercraft SU-22M4 both in 1/72 scale. The Tornado will become Canadian and the SU-22 will become Polish with the latest markings. Plus fingernail decals for the Chicago Bears and Cubs. These will probably end up on an F-5 and an A-4.

Just arrived from the Big H :

KP models Orlican VSO-10B (that a glider for those who do not know). Lovely looking wee kit. They have issued two versions of it, fixed or retractable u/c, but the plastic in the box gives the parts for both versions.

Valom Twin Pioneer CC1. GLORY. GLORY, GLORY at last an injected Twin Pin.
RAF version, one in grey/green camo, the other white/grey of ETPS Boscombe Down. I watched this very aircraft from the tower at Boscombe, doing rough field circuits on the grass area.
No "brown bomber" scheme but that will be easy to correct, maybe as a gun ship.
The kit does look good in the box.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
