A box full of resin that's now gone 2/3 of the way round the world to get to me!  ;D

A set of B-52H engines to hang under the wings of my 'more or less engines' entry in the current GB.

All this thanks to ebay and ESPECIALLY to Brian Rickshaw who acted as an intermediary postal stop to get them to me.

I hope you checked carefully for spiders.  You never know what might end up in a box posted from down here.   ;D ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ah right. I wondered what they were for  ;D

Seriously they have totally confused me though. I mean there doesn't seem to be any logic in the sequencing ? Then last night one of my mates told me that the players were allowed to pick whatever numbers they wanted ? Whence Root being 66. Seriously.

I think it cheapens the game.

You and me both mate, but then I'm a little bit of a traditionalist. I blame Sky, but then they have pumped a lot of money into the game

You BET I did!  :o

I fumigated the box for 2-3 hrs before even thinking about opening it, and also had it irradiated at the old nuclear power station across the river, just in case................

The Wooksta!

Was given a Heller Vampire yesterday.  Brilliant, I *really* need yet another one of them...  The 607 Sqn markings could come in handy though, for a Venom F1 in 607 colours, although as IIRC the majority of Venoms were camouflaged I may well have to go with an Aluminium finish.

I also managed to divest myself of one of the many Vickers Wellingtons I acquired last year, along with an Airmodel Valetta conversion.  So balance in the stash is the same.

From the Thornbury show yesterday

1/48 Kinetic F-16XL two seater

1/72 resin Buccaneer recce pallet
1/72 resin/EB 100 Group detailing set
Keeper of George the Cat.

Also from the Avon show :-

One sheet of 60 thou styrene
One tub of Tacky wax.

That was all.  ;D

Oh yes, I also bought an already built Magna Sea Prince from a guy who was 'downsizing' his collection. I intend to re-paint it into the scheme of the one I flew in 1960, the largest aircraft I've ever flown!

Kit, you weren't-a-bullshittin', bud!  ;D  I got this today and I never heard such clattering and skittering of loose parts. Didn't even seem like a model kit was inside the box. It was downright heavy feeling and of course, I shake the box and it sounds and feel more like a 300 piece LEGO set rattling around.  ;D  Size threw me, too, this box is a lot smaller than the box my other Rotodyne is in, I do believe.

Either way, all 48,000 loose pieces are here safe now.

Now, what to do with it? I want to militarize one, I do know that much. Hang a bunch of rocket pods and anti tank missiles and stuff on it. Put some guns all over it perhaps....

Make sure you count the rivets, Airfix may have short changed you on a couple of million of them.  ;D ;)

Not an addition to the stash but a possibility, if I can get the price down.

What would be a reasonable builder's price for this boxing of the Monogram B-36 (in very ordinary condition (definitely scuffed & foxed) for collectors)?
