Just  picked up my AZ model  SR 53 kit  from the post office.  Very  nice  wee kit, i am thinking of  asking Colin at Freightdog if he has any decals  for the  in service  what if version,  as I  want it  to be slightly different to the  one I am building at the moment
Chris

I have some unused decals from my SR.53 build. You can have those if it suits. Drop me a line.

All in 1/72 scale won off eBay;
Airfix  Vulcan special anniversary
Airfix Short Stirling
Matchbox HP Halifax

The aim is to stretch the fuselage of the Vulcan
The Stirling is to get the Rolls-Royce Merlin engines (I know where I went wrong last time I tried!)
The Halifax ASR.1 ambitious but I think I have all the parts.

The Wooksta!

I'm not buying anywhere near as much as I used to, even Spitfires, but I have acquired these few bits and pieces largely off ebay:

Ventura Spitfire HFVII
Ventura Spitfire PRXI
Ventura Seafire F.XV "Sting Hook" - quite happy to get this as I only have the one in the stash.

AZ Spitfire Vb
AZ Spitfire mk IX
These were bought as part started, the latter may well end up at Telford as a mk XVIe, depending on how much work needs doing to it.

Best of all:
Airkit Seafire XV
Cost: £4 Postage from the US £19!!!!!

And a mate donated a Quickboost Spitfire Vb Rotol prop.

Just as I was settling down for lunch yesterday (fish and chips on a Saturday ) the postie knocked and handed me quite a large box. Inside, direct from Airfix, a brand new Buccaneer  ;D

Looks really good in the box. She'll be real world, but not sure if from the box or after market transfers. Need to look.

I am tempted  to get one of the new Buccaneers  also,  mine  will be slightly  wiffed, and be a what if the RAF took them in to service  parallel to the  navy.

Finally found one of these for under $60 after shipping. A bit surprised to be honest, I didn't expect to win the auction. Pretty happy to have it...

It's happened again the seller has withdrawn two articles that I bought on eBay,  the Airfix Avro Vulcan and Shorts Stirling.

That really isn't on as far as I'm concerned. Have you complained ?

 I have a sneaky plan for this involving the use of SAC starred sash bands and either wing or command badges.
