Sea Shadow........in camouflage?

I can't remember where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure I saw long, long ago some pictures of the real Sea Shadow stealth test ship in some sort of dazzle camouflage scheme, or..........maybe it was a modeler's build of a Sea Shadow in a dazzle Camouflage scheme.
Either way, I hit upon the idea of building the old Revell 1/144 scale Sea Shadow model in some sort of dazzle camouflage scheme. Painting the model overall black according to the instructions is soooooooo boring.
I want something different and unique, but I am unsure what type of dazzle scheme to go with and what specific colors. Any advice? I would prefer not having to mask and do curves. I'd prefer straight lines/edges only.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

No.  :o

Been doing some searching on the Net tonight and I'm kinda taking a liking to schemes on the Visby class corvette and/or the Chinese Type 022 missile boat.

How about a Norwegian Skjold Class corvette scheme?

It's intended for coastal operations, though, not certain about the Sea Shadow's intended mission profile?

Swedish 90 H combat boats carry a similar scheme, for the same theatre of operations:

At least it's something else than the usual grey-in-grey!

No. Don't like the colors used. Not a fan of brown colors.

I've been thinking of painting my Sea Shadow model into some sort of nighttime Special Operations scheme. But I don't want it to be all black. Intended missions would be insertion of Navy SEALS or other SpecOps forces, Electronic or Intelligence gathering, Recon, or some other covert ops.
I was thinking of a possible scheme of 3-4 colors like black, dark gray, medium gray, and possibly light gray. Would that work or should I switch to something else?

You could go crazy and use the dazzle patterns from WW1. The pictures are usually black and white but actually they used bright colors like yellow, orange and purple. I guarantee it will be unique!

Yes, I think it would.  They're similar colours to those used on the USS Freedom, vary the greys and the proportions to match your mission profile:

This rendered image makes the light playing on the surface look like camouflage:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I tried doing mine in a digital camouflage last year using some self adhesive foil but I didn't like the result so I have to come up with something new.

I still like the idea of a digital camo but I hate masking.......

That does look nice.  I thought about doing some sort of 3-4 tone blue scheme, but then backtracked on it as a scheme like that wouldn't make sense or work for a nighttime stealth insertion craft delivering SpecOps forces. That blue scheme would be more appropriate for daytime operations.

Hmm, considering the mission, I'd suggest a horizontal wavy pattern that mimics the sea at the bottom, the horizon line and maybe some landscape and the (nigh) sky above? No reference photo, but somewhat inspired by French WWII tanks like this:

How about something similar to the Caunter Scheme but with the colours adjusted?

How about something like HMS Opossum, deployed in the Persian Gulf during the 1991 Gulf War and IIRC also used for infiltration jobs close to the coastline?

If anyone is interested in dazzle camouflage, this article on Norman Wilkinson is worth a read:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/guides/zty8tfr  In fact, this selection https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/search/actor:wilkinson-norman-18781971/page/4  of his art has his pictures from Gallipoli to Barracudas bombing the Tirpitz and beyond

I recognise that.  It's the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour.

Sure is, that's the Gosport Ferry terminal in the background.

I was there just the other week, but the sub wasn't. The Queen Elizabeth carrier was though, and it's HUGE!  :o
