I've just shown this device to a couple of military chaps who work down the road from me (at Stirling Lines,  Hereford).  Their two comments were:-

When do we get issued this , it looks like a bit of Gucci kit* and secondly

Where's the BV?**, we need our mugs of tea!


* the current military jargon for something worth having

** BV=Boiling Vessel.....a device built into British and, so I am told, Indian military vehicles for teamaking purposes

We call it Gucci gear, and for us in the DoD, it mean looks cool, is really expensive, and break at the most inopportune time.
