QuoteOh well, fingers crossed for the weekend then, eh?   <_< I'm sure I'll forgive you when we see some more progress.
Going downstairs to the Dungeon to do some more wet-sanding, right now...

That constant puttying/sanding does get old...

More please Mr Mouse!

Ollie

Barry, you are not working fast enough, keep on sanding, come on!

We want progess!

:P

It's coming, it's coming (but so is Christmas, I know!).

Letting the latest coat of Tamiya putty set up a bit tonight before wetsanding it down again tomorrow.  I sure found that a fresh tube made all the difference in the world vs. the last tube I had been using lately.  Just like gel toothpaste, beautifully fine grain.

Here's hoping that I can finally post a pic of the whole subject in a uniform coat of primer!

Meanwhile, I did manage to get all the detail painting done on my Americanized Japanese "Frank" kit today.  Thanks for reminding me about that one, Ollie.

I'm doing its tailfin tomorrow.

Here they both are, primed and ready for paint:

It should be, I'll say that much: all the puttying is done and I could actually be painting it.  But, no.
Work has been insane lately and I had to be out of town on a short business trip, which didn't help, either!
But, I have today (Friday) and the whollllllllllllllle weekend devoted to models (with the Boss's permission, no less!).

Painting problems?
That's what thinner was designed for.

Best of luck, Mr Howling Mouse! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you (although it makes it difficult to drink my beer).

Don't worry, Bri, I'll cross mine for you!

Great stuff Baz, keep at it!

I'm really loving this Polly Scale paint: just the right degree of built-in fade effect for the anti-glare panel and the dull yellow tips.
