I think I lost the original post (its been so long now) but its finished so here she is.

Basically a Zero re-badged as a 1939 Gloster product just prior to the BoB.

Had a bigger backstory but I cant remember it ...  :-[

Some WIP photos then the finished product.

Ciao

Going to be finished in 2021 BEFORE I start any da*!#d new ones - CF-IDS Wolverine; Douglas Mawson; Bubba Wants a Fishin' Rig; NA F-100

Against the Wall - Maton Dreadnought; Fender Telecaster; Epiphone Les Paul Studio

Nice paint job.
I actually think the unfinished four colour scheme looks as good as the three colour you ended up with.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

 Nice model, for the defense of Singapore, but against whom?
Thanks for making me remember the asymmetrical painting of RAF 1940, I added a little word about it at the end of my site http://www.kristofmeunier.fr/Asymm_addition.htm

Maybe the RAF would have insisted on better protection for the Pilot and Fuel System so a more powerful Engine would most likely be needed given the extra weight penalties that would involve and preferably one produced in the UK.  Not certain which radial they would use but they also could have used American Engines as well.

So, since great minds, may I offer help?
