From pprune here is a thread started about the planned B-52 engine upgrade that goes off on several tangents including Vulcan upgrades, Nimrod bombers, and RAF B-1s.  Even a link to a nice looking ALCM carrying Nimrod model.  Includes some insight from guys who flew Vulcans on what "might have been".

And these are the same bunch of guys who castigated me for even THINKING of the Meteor PR19!  :banghead:

One rule for me, one rule for them...........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
