Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I my try whittling a parrot.  Or maybe an albatross?

As a POI his peg-leg is actually wooden being made from the tip of a tooth pick...

I should get round to starting paint on the Bootstrapium buoyancy tanks later on today.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I finally glued the buoyancy support lattice to the top of the gondola retention frame and temporarily attached the bootstrapium tanks.

There will be a lot more junk stuff equipment mounted on the lattice like a fuel tank for the engine and the bootstrapium tank & pump.

I reckon you need to patent this before some animation studio spots it  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The pilot now has both his arms.  I've not got round to attempting to carve a parrot yet...

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Edit: Bugger! :-\ Just remembered that this is 1/72, not 1/35 - says a lot for the detail!

In 1/72 the shape just needs to be parrotish.  It's the colours that matter.  Anyone have a photo of a Norwegian Blue?

Thanks Scoot
I now have all required components and painting has commenced.
I am trying to make it look like it has been assembled from parts acquired from various sources by missmatching the paint on different sections.

No progress on the parrot.
