Oddly, both this year and last year the model that got broken on the way to Model Expo went on to place in the top three of its class.

The Flying dinghy did not place but at least one punter took a picture of it.

The judges are crazy, I hope it gets its true reward here in WhiffWorld then.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Don't get me started on judging at model shows...

The judges are judging the builders modelling skills.  Which they do not think includes anything subjective like imagination or artistic merit.
And that is fine.  I knew that when I entered and I don't enter to win prizes anyway.  The fact that at least one person was moved to photograph this is good enough for me.
