A single jet engine on a Concorde was not enough, so... <_<

I have found on the web a weird Concorde toy, with very big wheels <_<

That's a very old Micro Machines Concorde. I had at least one of those when I was a kid. They came in sets of 3-5 pieces.

For those unfamiliar with US currency, that's a dime, the smallest standard US currency, less than 18mm in diameter. The wheels on the Concorde are not large, because the whole thing is super tiny, but they definitely look weird proportionally.

Cheers,

Logan

Thanks for this explanation, and additional view (Concorde on the left, yes?). <_<

Thanks.

Google made me discover many other Concordes, including ones in wood, or with 2 fins or with tailplanes, great collection:  <_<

Bombcordes are relatively common in our world, and Concordes painted in airlines that never used them are almost everyday items, but there's not too many structurally Whiffed Concordes around.

I was fiddling around with a Revell 1/144 Concorde kit this evening and wondered how it would look stretched a bit.

And of course it would need longer wings, eh?  ;)

So I came up with this.

It's 16% longer in the fuselage, and 26% more span, plus the fin is slightly longer and taller. Does that work or is it too grotesque?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

That works!
(for a whatifer, I am not an airline company) :-\ ;)

the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
