...I am as of tomorrow morning, employed again...

Congratulations.  I think
Full time?  Or are you. like me, one of the underemployed?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Not sure yet.  I hope it is full-time.

Nice one Brian, makes you feel wanted at least.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Depends who wants you ? Those poster pictures can be most unflattering

No, well done mate

Well, that was quick!  I am once more unemployed.  Seems I wasn't what they were looking for.  They hired me as a Level 3 Help Desk person and what they really wanted was a Level 1 person.  So, we have parted our ways amiably (with a fortnight's pay in advance) and I am once more looking for work.   :banghead:

Anyway, it was a Windoze shop and I'm pretty much a Unix person.

I have in compensation raided my stash and started on my one and only Accurate Armour kit - their T-44.   I bought it three years ago off Evil Bay for a song.   Needs some work on it.  It is a multi-media kit with resin and metal parts.   First AA kit I've built.

Not too good Brian, I hope you can find something more suitable soon.

Not too soon that you can't make good progress on the T-44 though.......  ;D

Sorry to hear about the job Brian. Hope something comes along soon

Right. the T44 is officially a cow of a kit.  It has defeated me for the moment.  A combination of the roadwheels and the resin tracks (which are in sections, rather than linked) has proved too much for me.  I am officially putting it to one side and going on with an another kit.

I have three candidates - an M47, an M60 and a T54.   I think the M47 will win this race.   It is officially an Academy kit but it is actually an Italeri one.  It even has on the plastic bags "Made in Italy"!  The M60 is a Tamiya kit and the T54 is a Trumpeter.

My vote is for the T-54.

You won.  The T54 is an easier kit.

T54 is complete (more or less).  However, I have run out of the shade of green I was using to paint it with.  I have raided the LHSs and none of them have the shade of green I was using!  Disgusting.  I have purchased a similar but not the same shade of green so I will need to repaint it.    :banghead:

I have started on the M47.   I officially hate the carpet monster in my modelling room.   I dropped a suspension arm and it has been eaten.    I am, to put it mildly, somewhat miffed.  I will need to manufacture a replacement one.    It is annoying.    :banghead:

How annoying, on both counts.

Have you tried walking about barefoot?

Too cold for that!

I have basically taken everything up off the floor around the modelling desk.   The trailing arm is not present.  It has been eaten by the Carpel Monster!   :banghead:
