That pic looks like a civvie Phantom intercepting, shadowing or escorting a civvie gunship  ;)

;D ;D

Take out the opposition's air fleet on the ground!

Thanks!! How often do we get to see a white Phantom? Outside of the Thunderbirds, I can't even think of any off-hand. Of course, it's early and the coffee isn't working yet but I know for a fact that most are painted pretty dark aside from special schemes.

Paused work on this one until I can more paint. My white has become fouled and lays down several chunks with each brush stroke so I'm going to strain it later/throw it out and buy some more. I'm wanting a can of rattle can white anyway so I can save the eons of time it takes laying down multiple coats with this acrylic.

All done!

The pictures are lousy as usual. I will get better ones in daylight in a day or two. The sun has already gone down too far to be of use today but I just can't wait to show you all my build!  ;D

So, here she is.... a 1/144 British Caledonian F-4F .......  pilot shuttle/ parts runner/ VIP craft/ utilit vehicle/ what have you:

Have to have one with the ubiquitous TET bottle  ;D......

And this time I remembered to find another airliner in same scale to put with it, my whif Air-Cal BAC-111:

Sorry about the dark yet washed out photos. I will get some outside pics at some point and also have plans to upgrade my camera equipment as soon as I can afford it.

Nice
pity the 1-11 wasn't in Bcal colours as well,
amazing the smallness of the 1-11 or the bigness of the Phantom ;D
When you see them together.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

A VERY fast 'executive jet' if ever I saw one!

And it looks really good in the BCal scheme too.

Oh hey!!!! It just struck me that... I didn't plan it (sitting them both for the pictures, I just wanted one of my 1/144 scale planes) , but that 1-11 is where the B-Cal transfers came from!!!    ;D

I agree, how nice would it be to see them both sitting there matching? That would be fun... I'll have to build a proper B-Cal jet. Maybe a 727 or something.

And thanks again, everyone. Thanks for stopping by.

A DC9-30 would be more subtle, much more like a 1-11 than a 727..........  ;)

This is true but it doesn't have to be like the 1-11, just be in the glorious B-Cal livery.     I'm moving into tri-jet range now and am going to leave twins alone for awhile.  :o ;D  Then again, this would be a project way down the road anyway because the first 727 I do is going to be USPS livery anyway (oops, real world alert  :-\ ;D). Been looking forward to that one for quite some time and I finally have a few 100's in the stash that the decals go with so it's probably all academic at this point.
