Nice one!

The backstory could be that the Chairman's a warbirds fanatic and this is his 'executive jet', allegedly justifying it's existance with 'route-proving' sorties (to places like Saint Tropez, etc..), as well as carrying urgent spares to stranded B-Cal aircraft that 'just happen' to be in nice places...

A non-standard external baggage/parts pod on the centreline pylon might be an idea.

Thanks!! How often do we get to see a white Phantom? Outside of the Thunderbirds, I can't even think of any off-hand. Of course, it's early and the coffee isn't working yet but I know for a fact that most are painted pretty dark aside from special schemes.

The CCV demonstrator Phantom with canards was white with a blue stripe. Apart from that, I can't think of any except special schemes either.

Captain Canada

Bad idea. The pilots would all conspire to manufacture 'snags' so they could take turns running parts to each other lol

Does look good like that tho !

The RAF 'Alcock & Brown' Phantom was NEARLY white, a big white stripe on a very pale grey aeroplane...........

Thanks, T.!!!!!!!    I could see that happening!  ;D

Hell, maybe that's part of it. For the Captains and other pilots, perhaps they're allowed incentive rides. They can pilot if qualified, or ride in the back if not. They can go out over the Atlantic real quick, go supersonic, refuel on a VC-10 Tanker (coincidentally, I have plans in the works for a Civilian Tanker VC-10 build!!! ) do some negative G roller coaster stuff, then come home with full barf bags and pilots ready to sign new contracts.

Got some outside pictures. Some weren't too bad, either!

Thank you! I'm tickled pink with this lil feller! It was a bit of a rush job but I don't think it suffered too much for it, especially being so small.

I will gladly be re-visting the 1/144 "Airliner Fighters" motif in the future. The hard part is finding decals but certain 1/200 can work quite well if it comes from a smaller sized airliner (and I have a large enough 1/144 fighter plane). Other things to consider are the fuselage... gotta have enough real-estate to get the "billboard" effect that airliner fuselages have in order to cram the decals on. Something like an F-14, even though it is very large (for a fighter), would be hard to make work opposed to something like this F-4 that had a nice stretch of space for the name.

Fun stuff, I had blast making it and daydreaming about others is fun, too.

Thank you!! Anything we can do around here to beautify a brick.  ;D

Although, I've never understood the "blah blah even a brick can fly...." routine about the F-4. It's supposed to be ugly I guess. I don't see it. Not that it's the most beautiful thing out there, but "ugly" and "brick" certainly don't come to mind.

think you try doing a Typhoon in Air France Colors? or Maybe do a Mirage 2000 for Alitalia? just a Few Ideas for You to Look at. Dan

Done a little looking and enough "stuff" exists for sale that the possibilities exist. I'll dig deeper and see what I can come up with. Finding the kits is one thing, the decals.........    :o

Found a Typhoon to buy and.... turns out I already have Air France decals in 1/144. They could possibly work! I can make the fin flash work and the "AIR FRANCE" lettering is small-ish so may fit. Once I get my hands on the kit, I'll go from there and see what happens. Look for a build thread to appear at some point.

Looks good.

Bit hard on the stewardesses though. How are they supposed to serve drinks here?
