IIRC Australia looked at the F-15 as part of the procurement process which eventually ended up with us purchasing F/A-18s.  But what if we had bought them from Japan?
Add to that a WW2 commemorative scheme.

Kit's are both by Hasegawa; 1/72 Mitsubishi F-15J Eagle (1974 mould) and non scale F-15 Egg Plane.
Both built clean OOB.
Paint is Vallejo acrylic and decals are home made.
I ran out of the medium gunship grey I used on the Eagle and so used a different one on the Eggle which looks the same until you photograph them side by side.
