Despite the perceived Anti Whiff bias I had a good day at this (mostly car orientated) show.
I didn't spot any whiffs other than many model cars painted in non factory colours or with non standard modifications.  But then that's par for the course with car modelling.  We are not sticklers for accuracy.  Well, not many of us anyway.

The paintwork on this figure awed me.  Should have won best paint IMO.  It was about 4" tall.

This is 1/72.  Nicely rigged.

Also 1/72.

This is 1/24.

And this is one of Artus' creations.  He overlooks trivial things like practicality and mechanical accuracy in favour of "the look".  I think it's great.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That figures amazing  Chainmail is incredible.

Do you know what make the Felixstowe is, I assume Roden ?

I LOVE that 'Fordarri' 5 window coupe with the modern F1 style aero add-ons and side radiators.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I assumed that too.  Does anyone else make one in that scale?
It's a kit i've often looked at buying.  But that rigging...

I think the Roden kit is the only one around nowadays. As for the rigging ? The 1/32 Wingnut Wings kit scares me, let alone Roden's  :-X

Yes, IIRC there was a vacform one made way back by a small garage firm in East Hagbourne in Berks. I know that because they were right next door to a friend of mine's house. Darned if I can remember the name of the company but it was a wierd title. They also did a Sikorsky S-38 as well, and both were magnificent kits of the genre.
