Ahem, this is a short-run kit, and it seems impossible to build it completely without sandpaper...

Probably I will follow your advice and buy disposable masks to sand (a little).

Thanks (to have the same taste as me, not only the same first name, Chris...)

Yes but Christophe is just so much nicer sounding then Christopher I think. And it's just one letter  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks.

The main problem for me (bad modeller, sorry) is that, this time, I will have to use the thermoformed canopy. With white glue?
Maybe I will do differently with the canopy, as I will have a P-51 kit that I know including 2 (injected) canopies, see
https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=46599.0
One of those canopies may be used on the P.97c (sigh of relief)...

I have shortened the pod, then started to add putty to make it one piece again:

Wishing you absolutely the best result for your surgery   And you should for sure listen to your wife.  I do love your project, and these wonderful kits and ideas that somehow escape me.  Good luck with yours.

Best regards,
Kem

Thanks for both health and model ;)

For the P.97c, the current step is not the most pleasant: adding putty on the second side, then some more on the first side after filling the main holes... :-\

Tophe

Thanks a lot! ;)
Your support helps me going on and finishing...
(I admire the ones like you Ericr or Dizzyfugu presenting only finished models as this was easy...)

The pod is sanded.
Then the P-51D Heller extra canopy (injected plastic) is glued on.
Then putty addition again, to include properly this canopy (and fill the holes):

The P.97c is taking shape, with a layout like zero aircraft in the Real World...  ;D
