Thanks, bruh!!! I've contemplated having the whole fleet taken out (of my teeth of course) and replaced with the faux screw-in type. All that sounds pretty damn painful itsel , however, but imagine.... after being done having nice teeth that will never hurt again!

You know, I think the movie Cast Away (was it?) w/ Tom Hanks did a pretty good job illustrating how painful mouth pain can be. No ice skate surgery for me, however...

Strange you should say that. Up until the 50's it was relatively common among the "working classes" for kids to get a complete set of false teeth as a 16th birthday present  Both my mother and father had it in the late 30's and my brother who's older then me had his in the mid 50's. All your teeth out and a new set so as you were set for the world of work. They would have all left school at 15, maybe 14 in mum and dad's case.

By the time I got to that stage the NHS dental service had well and truly kicked in, thank the Lord.

@Chris: Ha! Fascinating, I remember reading about that recently and had forgotten. Makes a lot of sense in so many ways. -I've already had big problems with my teeth over the years before I even reached 30 and had.... ohhh.... I think the grand total was 9 teeth taken out.....the wisdoms, all 4 neighbors to the wisdoms,  (all 8 of those take out at once) and then a week later the 9th tooth that has started to decay at the gums.

I've a bit of a crowded jaw and it's made problems. The wisdom teeth all turned completely horizontal and were making pressure on my jaw and those teeth right next to them. That was a pretty painful ordeal as well.  Funny, it was 10 years ago, pretty much to the month, that I had all that work done and now here I am again...       BUT ANYWAY, point being... is that I'm not even 40 yet and I've already lost 9 teeth and two more need to go.  I'm not really going to have a whole lot of teeth left at this rate.         IN RETROSPECT, if I had just had them all out 2 decades ago I could have avoided so much pain. The initial pain would have been terrible but it would be a one time ordeal. Never had good access to dental care and this is the result I guess. And yes, I paid for that work 10 years ago OUT OF POCKET to the tune of $3,000+     That was a rough year. Also the year I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia.  Had a 10 year long headache thanks to that one and wouldn't you know it makes the tooth pain even worse as well?? 

None of this has to do with modelling, of course.  lmao

Thanks, Tophe...        hopefully I'm getting better.  The pain medication is working now, too, so hopefully the rest of the day will be less painful!

Thanks everyone!! This little things cracks me up. It's so damn small!          I forgot to take some more pictures with other things for scale reference but it's amazing how small it is. But, for its size, it seems to have some pretty long wings which is a nice feature.

I'm going to continue to snap up these kits every time I find one. So many ideas for them including gluing two together, etc thanks to Tophes glorious works. No shortage of things to be done with these and they're easy to build.

Easy to nitpick, however... where in the hell are the gear doors?    I was happy not to have to fiddle with them, but, they are missing for people who don't like having models with missing pieces which is likely the majority of us. The fitment is all nice, but, leaves seams. Next, while the plane itself is so small, relatively speaking the cockpit is large and open and needs more detail than just the very plain seat... not even a control stick. People might want to create some stuff to go in there, I didn't have time. Next up.... these are very tail heavy but there is no room to fit enough of anything whatsoever that I can tell into the nose without it being visable through the large canopy. Just some things to note while they're fresh on my mind. (I would love to see how people address the tail sitting problem without resorting to a post)        In conclusion, though, so very easy to build and a lot of fun.

Does the BD-5 have gear doors? 

I'm not even sure if the main gear retracts, but for sure the nose gear does and folds underneath letting the nose drop onto the ground so you can park your other BD-5s closer to it.............

How about fixing the nose weight problem with a white-metal pilot figure? Elheim's Civilian Helicopter Pilots should do nicely.
