The challenge of the One Week build .... Waiting! ;D ;)

Yup and one I struggle with  :banghead:

Further to my messing up the camouflage I have been spending quite a bit of this evening not only finding out the cause of my car overheating but trying to find the leak that drained the coolant  :banghead:

I may not finish this build in the time limit due to these setbacks. I will carry on with it though to see how far I can get it. The idea and methodoligy behind the build I am sure are sound, just time and surcamstances look to have scuppered things  :banghead:

Managed to give the model another coat of the green that I am using. This time it ended up far darker due to the semi gloss finish below it, it looks good though, very like some of the Swedish dark greens. This morning before heading off to work I managed to get a coat of Klear onto the green so when I get home tonight I will start decaling the kit which will not have many to go on so I could easily have another coat of Klear on the model to seal them in ready for a wash late evening. Might get the model finished after all.  :-\

Think I will be able to finish this. The seat is in and the windscreen and canopy are both in place as well. The exhaust is painted and so are the tyres. The wheel hubs need touching up prior to fitting them then its just a case of fitting the flaps, tailplaines and undercarriage doors and that's it!

Not sure who will be more supprised at me finishing a build in a week, you lot or myself, probably the latter

Done and pictures taken!

I'm not the greatest photographer so please excuse the partial or out of focus shots.

I used the flash on the camera so you could see the seat belts and that's why the background is a different colour

So I managed to finish with a couple of hours to go and I had the self induced problem with the paint/varnish which lost me a day effectively. It's done though, only my second attempt at the one week group build and my first finish which would be as good as winning.

Nice. I love that scheme. It's simple but beautiful.

So true. Now it has got me wondering just what RAF squadron could I put my Heller Lansen in.

I am already struggling with that and whether if should be a twin engined aircraft or not.
