No Tophe, I want to make it as close to your dream as I can.  It's all over sky blue, it is not a military aircraft and has no markings except registration letters.
So I ask again, gloss or satin?

I think I prefer Satin, not Gloss (I used Humbrol Enamel Matt before I turned to Tamiya Acrylic).
Thanks for making it according to my favourite features rather than yours! ;) I appreciate this as a friendly gift, thanks again!

A new definition of the criterion of exactness  :o ;D

Crew are painted and cleared.  I say crew, they are actually a young couple.

All that is left is to assemble the props & spinners,  a touch of black wash here and there and to paint the canopy framings.

Wouldn't like to meet Samantha on a dark night ! She looks far tougher than Austin  ;)

Nice work mate

Samantha is one of the Airfix Stratos IV TSR2 crew girls with a replacement head.  As she is an Anime Girl she therefore has extraordinarily long legs, a tiny waist and a pneumatic chest.

Isn't she lying on her stomach aboard the Stratos IV?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

The crew in the Stratos 4 were prone/kneeling astride a bench.  Is that clear?  Like the position one would adopt riding a sports motorbike but with the knees and hips less bent.
Rotating them backwards puts them in the sitting position with their legs apart.

OK, got that.

I've got one of the Stratos IV kits, but saw it as another stock TSR2, and didn't look too closely at the 'alternative crew'.  ;D

There are 2 crew in the Stratos 4.  Both in this "doggy style" position.  The other one is piloting my ziking Ragnar.

From the way this discussion has evolved I think Airfix may well have found themselves being referred to The Lord Chancellor's Office back in the day ?  ;)
