Serendipity or what ? As mentioned elsewhere I was out with some ex work colleagues yesterday, one of whom is Dutch and somehow the subject of model making came up. Petra mentioned her brother had recently retired and had just got back into modeling and was wondering about how to get more information. Anyway to cut a long story short I've ended up sending your link through to her for him.

Thanks Tom
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Hobbes

I've packed up my models, ready for the show tomorrow.

Start packing in 30 minuten. Finished the DHA-4 Wallaroo (tri otter), Kawadanga Ki-198 Felix and Consolidated Privateer COD tonight, so need to wake up yet.

Guaranteed to get in early tonight!

But they're finished! Will post beauty pics in the evening.

63cpe, Hobbes and me had a good day today at ESM.
We manned the What if stand and had a lot of visitors.

Will post some pictures of the other models later.....

I am glad I could see and appreciate all the models today. Great display! Didn't expect to see so many builds.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Yup, we had a good day. Tom and David brought lots of new models (we had 4 tables, 7.2 m x 60cm, and we filled all of them). My production this year has been minimal, so I brought some older builds as well. Lots of interest from the punters, too.

Loupgarou, it was nice to see you, and if you visit us again next year, feel free to bring some models to display on our tables.

Woweeeee, what a SPLENDID display you three produced!

I'd venture to suggest that you outdid the UK SIG at Telford this year.

Do tell me more about the BOAC Short Stirling flying boat please, if that's what it is.

Gentlemen, you have displayed whiffery of the very highest standard and I am extremely impressed.   I do like the B O A C  Short  Shetland.
