This one was a request.  I investigated and it should work. The decals might be a bit iffy where the airliner name on the side is concerned but I can make the rest work.

I've gotten started by gluing the seat thing in and closing up the fuselage halves. I'll throw 2 or 3 bb's in the nose pretty soon. Next I'll be slapping the wings on. She's well under way finally.

Will this be a fast cargo for little parcels? Or a scale-o-rama airliner with many windows? ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Ultra fast cargo delivery, yes! Or... something.  ;D  Marketing gimmick? Incentive sled for qualified airline captains? Sky is the limit I guess! I'll let the viewer decide what they want it be and leave it open for interpretation.

She's coming along nicely now. I'm working on a couple gaps then I'm going to paint the wings sort if in a fashion that simulates an airliner wing a little bit. Grey interior with metallic edges (or white, if that looks weird). Fuselage will be white, of course. I've already starting trimming out the transfers as well, and they check out! Everything will fit, although I'll have to measure, mark, and cut down the tail striping to make it fit. Just like on the F-4, it'll have to be a truncated version of the larger full fin decorations.

Problems.

The front half of the cockpit interior is missing. Oh well! Also, the landing gear is so WEE. I've broken one piece myself and noticed by accident (thankfully) that another piece was broken as well so I'll have to put that stuff back together and hope for the best. Glad I bought Xuron sprue cutters; these wispy little parts are what they're for!

A 1/144 scale fighter project, SIGN ME UP!

It's looking really great so far, but trust me, Brad... after you build enough in 1/144 everything else looks GIGANTIC! ;)

Also, a word of advice... make sure your oversized pot of Tamiya glue is closer when you snap the pic... it'll help Kit (and others) understand the scale.  Besides, those novelty sized tools/paints don't come cheap.  You need to get your money's worth~ :D
Thanks!

 ;D ;D ;D

Oh, and, I'm already started to be swayed by the scale. I thought I'd keep it mainly the (larger by comparison) airliners but I like working on the small stuff for some reason. And you're right... my recent F-111 thing looks like a bigazz pancake or something in comparison.  ;D

The first one I did is one of my favorite builds of late.

Get this.... I have a civilian tanker build planned, too, to be a flying gas station for all this crap.   ;D   (VC-10)

Good!
As far as I am concerned (as viewer) I don't need a logic/interpretation to appreciate as pretty/funny...
If I don't clap my hands in a near future, this may be because I am hospitalized and not here to enjoy. When I come back I will try to see all that I have missed, maybe.

Do take care. This talk doesn't sit well with me. Please rest and keep in touch.

I will complete this very soon so you can see it.  It's going well so won't be long.  <_<

Like this?

The Italian Air Force were WELL into colourful special schemes on their 104s, and I could quite believe that that one is RW!

If they didn't use a F-104 they at least used a Macchi 326 (well I think it was that airline...)
Edit: it was Alitalia, found a image

My last post was in the wrong place so if anyone was wondering why I was talking about Bic pens out of the blue, well, there ya go.

Trying to expedite this lil feller.

It's going well. I need to do some quick touch up painting but otherwise I can move on to painting the interior and small details(Ha, aren't they ALL small in 144?).

Won't be long before the real decorations come. All of the airliner decals are trimmed out but I still need to cut down the fin flash.  I also still need to assemble the gear and paint the gear doors. One will be more difficult than the other....

This is what I have for now:
