And after this, a BA Rafale perhaps?  ;) ;) ;D ;D
Damn, that would look snazzy!!!  I'm thinking for my next one of something like a B-66/Skywarrior. Nice big side for decoration and I could even cram a tiny compartment in there (maybe) like Fred did with his glorious SA-3.

And........ .... I want to build my VC-10 flying gas station soon. Make it Shell or MoBil oil or something. Or create my own if I can't find some racing transfers or something that would work.

Neat masking

Cheers!! I hope masking this tiny little stuff will mean that my 1/72 masking becomes easier as a result. At least it should in theory!  ;D

Here's my thing... I'm starting to be swayed by these tiny little planes. It can be difficult due to the size but I can't help but love the simplicity of them. So easy to build up and work on because of the much lower parts counts and simpler engineering. This doesn't always hold true for the larger subjects in 1/144 but things like these fighter jets are way easy to slap together.

Didn't the USN do that for real with the Skywarrior? I recall they converted some of the early ones into Admiral's Barges with a cabin where the bomb bay was.

They did, I just found a pic of one.  ;D

Wow!! Hell yeah, dude. Thanks for that! That had to be a hell of a time riding around in.  ;D   What fun. Or......   how terrifying? Trapping would be a bit scary down there, or at least it would be for me.

Now, I wonder if anyone makes these in 1/144. I guess I'll go find out....   I have some in 1/72 and have often thought about doing something with those, as well.

The Hasegawa Skywarrior is a lovely kit, apart from trying to work out how to fit the landing gear, and the price of course.

See my Skysearcher thread for a nut-and-bolt build critique of it.

I've tried at various points over the years to snag one of those to no avail. They mainly go for pretty steep prices over here. That's some pretty nutty stuff you were up to with your blitz build!

I have one of the Italari B-66 and also picked up this set for cheap a couple years ago which has the Skywarrior (it's a damn shame it didn't come with the carrier  ;D ):

The Eurofighter is 95% done. I need to unmask a little bit of stuff then finish the canopy then it's time for pictures.

Although, like others, I'm bemused by the selection of the Eurofighter Typhoon to represent Air France. ;)

At the conclusion of the B-Cal Phantom build, forum user Cobra requested this. I can only assume there is a fair amount of "piss-take" involved and good old fashion ribbing.  ;D ;D

think you try doing a Typhoon in Air France Colors? or Maybe do a Mirage 2000 for Alitalia? just a Few Ideas for You to Look at. Dan

I obliged. The other suggestion was more difficult to achieve or I may have tried it as well.

Turns out it was great fun! This is maybe the third or fourth time I built something someone else suggested or entirely based on someone else's concept and they always seem to wind up being enjoyable builds.

Tophe likes it's, too, so that's a plus.  ;D ;D ;D

Superb Job with the Eurofighter    Thought It'd be a "Slap in the Shorts" to Air France and a Good Bit of Fun! Thanks For Doing it! Dan

Nah.  Grab a bottle and a couple of young ensigns and the flight would go in no time...

'fighter looks great Brad C.  And so tiny.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I am going out of the hospital today after surgery and I thought I was alive... But with this SO WONDERFUL  model, the conclusion must be: I am in Heaven, meaning I am dead, no? ;D

Could prove useful if feeling slightly mutinous ?  ;)
