Thought I'd kick this off as we are just under 6 weeks away  ;)

Hotel is booked (it was booked a year ago, otherwise it sells out) and trains are booked. Both my pre-order and wants lists are being prepared and I think I know which couple of modes I'll be taking.

So preparations are well on the way

You're one of the Early Birds then?

I haven't even thought about it yet, but luckily I don't have any accommodation problems these days, thanks to the RAF's Best Air Traffic Controller.  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Accommodation is the main problem Kit. Telford has a distinct lack of hotel space for somewhere that markets it'self as a major conference centre. You can stay in Shrewsbury or even Wolverhampton/Birmingham but then I'd be trusting that the trains ran over the weekend and there wasn't "Weekend Engineering Works"  :banghead:. You really do have to book a year in advance and I won't even mention the prices they charge ! Lets just say my Sunday night bill is third of the previous nights rate.

When?!  :o
I know I slept well last night but pretty sure it is still 2019. Or is it...?

I'm booked into my usual campus place across the motorway. Booked it in June. £153 Bed and Breakfast for 3 nights.

Sat at the bench now working out what to finish for either the London table or the What-if table. Lots of choice and a worrying amount of dust.  :-\  Definitely want to get the little German tanks done to go with Martins huge land battleship!

Will probably have a major sale of unwanted kits too. Got some books to go as well.

I don't know about 2020 yet but I aim to be there at least on the Saturday this year.
I have a work appointment in Birmingham on the Friday so I'm nearby.

My only excuses are that :-

a) I'd just had a couple of nights in hospital

b) I will need to start thinking about accommodation for 2020 very shortly

c) I'm a daft old fart  ;)

We can discuss this on Wednesday, Chris!  ;D

Not going to be there this year or next, this year due to lack of funds and next years as a nephews fiance inconsiderately decided they should get married that weekend  :banghead:
