I think they are fairly common downunder.  We have a huge Moth population in Australia.  In the southern states it is dark enough and cold enough and wet enough to encourage their growth in amongst our clothing and other belongings.   I've never had a problem with them in my library but they are sometimes amongst my clothing.   :banghead:

Silverfish were always a common feature of my grandparents houses when I was growing up. Haven't really seen them since. I think it was a case of them liking older, damp properties.

Has Ozz always had them, or did they get brought in from Europe in luggage etc ?

If I can find the KC-135 kit I may do, yes.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Spooky,  that's what I intend to do with my Heller 1/72 Boeing E-3A/C,  I know it's not the same model but the parts do fit as I have tried building one before resembling the VC 10 :banghead:

The KC-135A kit is still available on Ebay, but it's not cheap.
