The F-52

In Donald Trump's head this aircraft exists even though the USAF and the USNavy haven't received the F-52 into service yet.
So it's my chance of kitbashing a fighter aircraft,  of course there will be concept designs and development aircraft.
Starting with an Airfix 1/72 F-111A with the wings from a Hasegawa
RA-5C which looks pretty good. The engines will need replacing.
Then there's the 1/72 YF-23 which came with the gear up as a spares and repair project,  I need a raid in the spares boxes for the cockpit canopy and landing gear.

I have also uncovered two other fighter/bomber/ground attack projects in 1/72 scale which will be added to this topic;
Convair Fish Finger- a kitbash using the wings of a B-58 and F-117
Fairey Delta Dart- back end is a Dassault IVP with the side by side  Matchbox Hunter T.7 conversion glued to it.

I'll be naming the F-111A model A, as this is looking more like a Mig-33 now that the vertical tail fin has been removed and the two tail fins (can't remember the correct name ) reglued at an angle.

The YF-23 will be Model B, this is the V/STOL version.

I made a USSF (Unites States Space Force) F-52 about a year ago.







ALL political BS aside......   *I* thought it was pretty neat, but not many people seemed to like it. I really went all out on the stupid thing, though.    I need to take better pictures of it..

But anyway..... do it. Build it; make it happen! I encourage this type of thing because this is some real-deal what-if stuff.

It was. Good eye, brotha! I altered some of the configurations and modified it enough to make it a bit different.

Oh. I was thinking, by the title, of a B-52 with a whooooooole lot of AA missiles.  Bomb bay full of Phoenix, with AMRAAM and Sidewinders on the wing mounts.

The Model A, crashed during flight trials.  I gave it a good send off by attaching it to a firework last seen flying over Woolwich Common.
