The transfers I used were new for the Dirty Donny release.
AMT released many versions of the kit over the years.  By the end the moulds were completely f**ked with a lot of the fine detail (like the gutters) missing.
I have this one in the stash.

And here are a few more

These two probably fetch the most.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Mine was the 'Sun Chaser', and I have a 'Foxy Box' still stashed in The Loft.

I'll post pics of the Drag van one day, when I've repaired it.............

After an issue with the seats (fouled the doors - had to be moved inwards) I got the interior completed and the doors fitted.  They should open...
...and close!

C'est fini.

Dodge A100.

Dragged out of retirement, this ute has been upgraded to go, stop and corner like a new 'un.
At its heart beats a 6.3 litre supercharged Hemi V8 while any equivalent amount of woah is provided by disc brakes on all four wheels.
Improved handling is provided by independent front suspension from a Corvette.
Custom paint, mag wheels and low profile tyres complete the package.

I know now't about cars or trucks etc, but can recognise a well finished model
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Very nice, Fred - lovely job.

And the Blue Thunder canopy idea is great! I shall have to "Imitate in the Sincerest Form of Flattery"   ;) when I get to doing mine.
Certainly a lot easier than trying to get crisp folds in acetate.

zenrat

Thanks folks.

I don't think of it as imitation but as taking inspiration from...
I'm happy to share.

Cheers, Fred - it sounded more polite than 'Blatantly Copy"...  ;D

It's interesting how x-number of modellers can still come up with something close to x-number of different ways of doing the same thing!
And how a remark on an unrelated subject can be a flash of inspiration for something that's stalled a project.
