I don't know if this is a flight deck, my engineer does not tell me anything.

A lot of grey parts in bag 9, and it looks as if the two parts will finally come together today.

Well, this is quite long. A good part longer then the Bismarck he built last year. But he likes that he can sit in it. There would be even some space for his friends as well.

Yes, oars might be a good idea for this thing...

Today, there were none of them in bag 10, just another pile of bricks.

And those bricks were all put on the side of the ship. Looks much more solid now.

Bag 11 has a lot of bricks in it. And some little boats as well!

A lot of the bricks were attached to the sides of the ship - looks like a real ship now.

I never knew that you could post your builds on Twitter,  I'll definitely give that ago.

The engineer looks very happy with his progress, as well he should!

Well, I think my engineer is very happy with his work.

Now to bag 12, some quite big parts are in this one today

And the result looks almost completed.

Only one more bag to go.

Finally, the last bag. I see some little planes in it and my engineer is keen to build it.

And after 3100 parts and 3 instruction books with over 600 steps, he is glad to present the result

The Cobi Graf Zeppelin model in 1:300. Again they made a very nice model from Lego-compatible bricks. This one had over 1000 parts more then the Bismarck. With 160€ its not cheap, but a Lego kit with this number of parts would be much more expensive.

And together with the Bismarck.

There are a few other Cobi ships I would like to build (Scharnhorst, Warspite, Yamato) but unfortunately, I have no idea where to put them.

There'd be space right behind the Bismark if you shunted them both up to the edge of the table.  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Well done indeed

First time I've heard of Cobi and indeed Lego compatible bricks, still you live and learn.
