I find myself asking "How much of the back-story is fact & how much is fiction?"

Very neat & believable build, Dizzy!

PS: The term you need, rather than "mirrors", is "periscopes". ;)

Very realistic indeed.
You are right, it's the missing link between the WW2 model and the Luchs.
Darwin would be proud of you!
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Thanks a lot! Yes, it's probably a good example of how a whiffy model fills a historical gap - it works very well in this case, also because the build combines (literally) elements from the previous generation and from the successor.

EXACTLY my thoughts too!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

On a real world note, the US Occupation Forces Constabulary, which more or less replaced the German civil police used M8 Greyhounds.  There is an interesting article at:
