Hello gents,

A bit late posting what's new this year, as some of it only arrived yesterday and as usual I'm still writing instructions! I've got a few new and re-issued items that might be of interest. There are a couple of vanity projects thrown in, these are things I wanted to make that might be popular, they are the Javelin FAW.8 conversion nose for the Frog kit, and a small belly conversion for the obsolete Hasegawa/Frog Lightning F.6 (how many of you don't have one in the stash? I've got at least four);

Complete resin kit - What-If;
FDR72SHREW2 Supermarine 327 Shrew Tropical version (new decals) - £35.00

Resin conversion/upgrade sets;

FDR72129 Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 Mk.20 Air to Air refuelling pod (for Airfix new kit) - £5.50
FDR72030 Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 Red Beard bomb conversion (for Airfix new kit) - £6.50
FDR72131 Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 early wing homer antenna pods (two sets, for Airfix new kit) - £4.00
FDR72132 Douglas Skyraider AD-4N/AEW.1 150 gal drop tanks (for new Sword kit) - £4.50
FDR72133 BAC Harrier GR.1 Anniversary Air Race upgrade set (for Italeri 2019 re-issue) RRP £6.50
FDR72134 Gloster Javelin FAW.8 conversion (for vintage Frog kit) - £4.00
FDR72135 BAC Lightning F.1/2/3 conversion (for vintage Hasegawa/Frog kit) - £10.00
FDR72136 What-If Hawker tandem Hunter All-Weather conversion (for Revell kit) - £17.00
FDR72137 What-If Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 AEW conversion (for Airfix new kit) - £ 9.00
FDR72138 What-If Buccaneer S.2 Green Cheese missile conversion (for Airfix new kit)  - £6.50

The Shrew now has three extra decal options, for late and Post-War aircraft from 6, 32 and 601 Sqn. If anyone bought the kit with prototype decals and wants the operational ones come and see me at the show.

I miscalculated how many sets of tandem Hunter base parts I had, so for members who have already bought the original set (there is a lot of you, own up) and want the AWF parts (an AI.23 radar nose, gunsight and pair of 37 round rocket pods), I'll be selling these at £4.50 a set only to SIG members, you will have to ask me for them as I won't have them on the table on their own.

Look forward to catching up with you at the weekend.

Thanks,
Colin

I can see this could be an expensive weekend.  ;D ;)

Colin, do you have plans on doing the Javelin Mk.7 conversion (in 1/72)

Colin I'll have a Hunter 2-seat fighter conversion please.
Will the Lightning conversion work on an Airfix F6 with fettling?

Everything will work with a bit of fettling! I'd say yes, also a Matchbox kit, but it is designed for the Hasegawa/Frog kit and includes the cable duct (as the Hasegawa one is undersize), the duct is the correct length to make an F.3, but if you want to make a 2 or a 1 you need to shorten it. The belly tank is separate so you can make an early F.1, or an operational one flown without a tank (they did sometimes do it in squadron use, but the endurance must have been awful). it does not include the straight wing leading edge, as the Hasegawa wing is solid you can reshape this yourself.

I don't think so, Whirlybird already do a Mk.7 tail that can be used on the Airfix/Heller FAW.9.

Colin

The Wooksta!

I'm interested in a pair of Shrews, although that may just be one when the mate who wants one hears the price and a spare set or two of decals won't go amiss either.

Also interested in a Seafire 46 and Spitfire F24 conversion or three if you have any in stock.

Finally, a Nene Lancaster conversion for another mate of mine please.

There ia a lot of stuff there I want  Colin,  but I  can't get to Telford,  so I  shall  wait  until  they are  available on your  site.  It was me who enquired about the red beard bombs on Facebook

Cheers Colin, I'll take one.

Did I see on your Facebook page that you're doing a Javelin FAW.9 exhaust set?  If so is it just the afterburner units or a tail correction as well?  Can't tell from the pic you posted.
