Thanks Tophe.  I'm blushing.

Harriegg looks good Kit.  Yellowed transfers are a shame though.

Maybe everyone could post their eggplanes here?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yes, but it's over 25 yrs old. Only re-decaling would sort it I reckon.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

That's great Eric.  Do you remember where the floats came from?

Shame.  How about putting it in the sun?

We tried that some years ago, but with zero result. :(

I've used that technique quite well with old airliner decals, but always while they were still on the backing sheet. Perhaps it only works with the white background?

Maybe.

It obviously has special meaning so I wouldn't 't risk doing anything drastic to it.  Leave it as it is and remember when you look at it.

With these aircraft, certain features are over (easy) eggaggerated...

I'll get my hat...    ;)  ;D

it must have been from the vacformed floats from Aeroclub that could be found at that time (but not any more alas TTBOMK)

like on this SR-71

for egg planes, the side floats of flying boats have fittingly appropriate proportions

Nice little squadron,  I did a few myself a while back, might get onto the Harrier I've got.

I did an Egg Harrier a while back, specially at the request of the late Mrs_PR19. As she was a duck freak it had a duck as a squadron marking on the nose.

We called the model the Harriegg.............  ;D ;)

I like that, especially the duck.. I had a look and I'd forgotten I started mine, the egg parts were together and I'd painted the the stores.  I also had a part that I was going to add as a GR.3 bottle nose.  I've got other stuff to do, but it wouldn't take me long to finish it...

I've sometimes thought it'd be possible to make a Typhoon by cross kitting the P-40 (with a bit of change to the intake, the Fw190 control surfaces and the P-51 canopy.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Yes, they were VERY handy, I still have about half of one those sets knocking about somewhere.

I suppose it'd be possible to take some male moulds from the inside of the vacforms and reproduce them. I'll have a look at doing hat.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
