Recently an insurance payment gave me the opportunity to buy two 1/72 Unicraft kits, and to get a round total I wanted to add a Novo 1/72 kit from Igor also. But the P-38 I selected was not available anymore and I accepted a Blackburn Shark with floats, instead.
I received it and there is no box, no art, just the parts and instruction sheet in Russian (I am able to read Russian a little).
I found the general aspect elsewhere :

I will not make it as a biplane but tandem wing, and the floats will be booms.

For a shorter pod and better balance (with a nose black canopy), I truncated the central pod, ahem...

I started to add putty and cut away the wing roots:

I can see this making an attempt on the world water speed record. Looks a bit like a "skimmer" or hydrofoil of some sort
