Captain Canada

Haven't thought of a name for it yet. I know I drew a pic of my idea many moons ago, so maybe I named it then ? Once I find the pic I scribbled I'll know  :thumbsup:

When I dreamed this up all those moons ago, I saw it as both a bigger load carrying USAF bird, and a carrier based bomber. I accrued a few kits, I think I sent salt6 some parts way back when as well. Him looking for bits was a good enough excuse for me to go get another one. I then realized, that I wanted the bird to be a two-holer, it just didn't fit having this big twin as a single seater. Fast forward to a few weeks back, when I stopped at Dean's in Owosso and found one.

I do admit I hummed and hawed, and rally stressed about how I would start. Then I read a motivational / self help book ( The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck ). One hapter was about reorganizing thoughts and beliefs.

The usual way of thinking ?

Inspiration = motivation = action

How about :

Action = inspiration = motivation

Hey, works for me ! Any road, more than chuffed on the way this has started. I was going to use bits from an F-14, but they just werent right, and would have made more work. My next excuse was needing more styrene options, mostly square tubing.

Action = Inspiration = Motivation. So I opened a beer and got to work !

Good project of single nose double tail F-105, wow! :thumbsup:
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

That's going to take some serious area-ruling!  :)  I like it!  Are you going to leave the tails vertical or slant them a bit?

Whatever else, it's going to be FAST!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks guys. Yes for sure, lots of work ahead. But as I stated I just started cutting and glueing, in the hopes that it would come together. It wasn't long after that I'd wished my two rear fuselages were longer, as well as my cockpit section. But that's how I roll lol.

:rolleyes:

This model is so inspiring, it was copied by Dassault, see on my CGI topic https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=10054.150
How many $ billions Dassault should pay you? ;D

Captain Canada

4 billion sounds fair  :wacko:

Captain Canada

Cheers guys. I'm going to extend the wing all the way to the inner fuselage, by using bits from two sets of wings. I also plan on widening the intake to suck up enough air for each engine, and that will also help fair in the sides.

I think I'd call it the "Blood & Thunder" ... a friend used that as an expletive.  :)
