Just  got this finished, some of the decals I wanted to use on it desintigrated even though I  put microscale liquid decal film on them, but never mind.  The aircraft  is an in service  interceptor, based in Germany  circa 1964.

Very smart Chris, looks the part.

I really need to think what to do with my SR53 kit, it's been looking at me for MONTHS.

Of course doing a longer winged SR53 would be an obvious choice for me, but who in their right mind would specify a PR aircraft with a rocket motor?

Oh, I did. [Blush]

The PR19B had a socking great rocket in the belly...............  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Thankyou Kit and LO, the build was easy enough  which is  always  a good thing for  me these days.  This is the Samolotu  kit, I have the AZ version too in the stash that will get camouflaged.

Longer wings sound good as well Kit. Might have to deploy after the rockets fire

Hmm, FOLDING longer wings?

There was a high performance sailplane that did that, sometime in the 60s IIRC, so it's not impossible.

The AZ version is a nice little kit

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
