Another ebay batch today...

1/48 Airfix Super Etendard
1/35 Revell Marder 1A3
1/72 Revell Warrior MCV

I've been in a bit of a sci-fi mood and have visions of the Marder scale-o-ramad into a massive 1/72 Martian expeditionary vehicle with a lot of Warrior parts on it, as seen during the early colonial-era Water Wars.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Are you aware of this site?  http://heliograph.com/trmgs/ detailing the Transactions Of The Royal Martian Geographical Society which if explored might be of interest to you.   As a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society,  I suppose that I have guest fellowship of the Martian  equivalent.

I built one earlier this year (SWMBO got it for me for Christmas last year).  I would probably go as far as to say it is the best plastic model kit ever built, and likely close to as good as will ever be built.  Truly an amazing bit of styrene engineering.  One of my biggest problems was getting parts apart again when dry fitting.  It literally is THAT good.  Go for it, you wont be sorry.

  Thanks

Arrived  this morning from that there Japan, a Hasegawa  F-106a Delta  Dart . Saw it advertised  for £5.50ish so looked into it  and even with the postage  it come in well under the customs radar. I looked at the meng kit which has the 6 shooter parts too but the cost outweighed what I  got the hasegawa one for. This will be an RAF  Germany aircraft, and I am going to  see if some firestreak missiles will fit in the weapons bay, or it could have fuel in there  and missiles on wing pylons.  It could  quite  possibly  get the radar redtops I  got from Colin.

It's a pretty good kit, Chris. Just keep your putty handy if you decide to model it with the weapons bay doors closed...........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Thankyou for the heads up  to you both, I  vaguely remember  building  either this or the Delta dagger as a kid and that had a  dodgy  set up for the weapons bay  doors too, if I  can't get the firestreak missiles to fit I  will probably have it buttoned up.
