Just won the 1/72 Combat kits BAe Mantis UAV , I'll have to see if a scratch built cockpit and canopy is doable.

The postie just delved an eBay win

1 x 1/35 M51 by Tamyia. To be a real world build as I am always fascinated by the underdog scenario which is why I like Israeli stuff.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

PR19_Kit

A little packet from the Big H with two sets of Barracuda decals (Why did I get them, I've just finished my Barra kit?  ;D) An Eduard PE set for a Canberra PR9 (for an RW build when I get home, XH131 naturally... ;D) and two resin Canberra rudders. (I didn't know there was anything wrong with the Airfix ones, but WTH......)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I decided to treat myself to a special hobby  seafire  fr47, and it has arrived today.  Looks good in the box and I have  decided what is  going to happen to it. Just as the mustang's i have are going to be  griffon powered  naval aircraft, this is going to be  based in the  middle east and sport a  desert scheme.  It will be based at El Adam in Libya, and serve its last days  there until  replaced by the  swifts  in the sand kicking  department.

Bunch of rotors coming in, finally got my first Heller 1/50 Gazelle and there's another one on the way. One of them will probably be converted into a Blue Thunder.
Also ordered a Revell 1/72 UH-60A which will be Portuguese, maybe Fuzileiros(Marines).

Another one that should finally be delivered next monday is the KittyHawk 1/48 AH-1Z Viper.

Hmm, a further 'care package' from Suffolk has just arrived and within was a....

Special Hobby 1/72 Fouga CM-175 Zephyr [French carrier landing training a/c]

Most rest of the package headed for the igloos given its nature.....

Little Boy, Fat Man, Mk17, Mk53, Mk36 single examples of weapons grade resin.

But ADM-20 Quail and AQM-37 Jayhawk drones also showed up.

All this resin being from Blackdog.

Ebay says I've won that Airfix Beaufighterin the Malaya boxing that I was bidding on.  There's lovely.

Given some of the bits I have about, I may have a spin at backdating it to an early mk 1.  In Battle of Britain colours.

First kit in months. Got my taxes paid so I decided to allow myself one to celebrate.

I'll go more in depth over on the blog but this is the most impressive looking Amodel kit I've seen. There aren't a ton of manufacturing flaws... I don't see any flash at all. Everything looks nice and crisp. Panel lines are recessed but not overly large/deep. No clue the fitment or literally anything else about it. I'll probably dig up a review or two to read through in a bit. Hopefully not a disaster.

I'm working on one of them at the moment.  Nothing too bad to report but then i've not got far.  Check the windscreen fit before finalising fuselage join PSR.  Mine needed some slight adjustment.

<edit>  The wheel well internal walls are separate parts and will need to be sanded down to get the wing halves to fit without a gap on the leading edge - or leave them out.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ebay says I've won a Revell Hunter FGA9 in the original boxing, so that gives me more Mavericks I have zero use for but the longer Sabrinas if I want to do a Swedish F.4.

Plus an Airmodel Vampire NF10.  IIRC it's geared to go with ye olde Frog kit but any fule kno the Heller one is far better and I've loads of them.  The donor kit can also give me a cockpit interior for the Aeroclub Venom I've part started.

And it was, along with a 1/48 decal sheet by Black Cat decals for a Portuguese Spitfire...
