SWMBO made a trip out of town to visit a beekeeping supply shop with one of her beekeeper buddies today.  I jokingly suggested she stop on the way at the hobby shop on her way (one of the few ramaining in our area at an hour away).  She comes home with a bag of surprises from said hobby shop!

Contents included Tamiya Quick Drying Cement
Evergreen assorted pack of styrene rods and tubing
Flexi-File 3-was sanding stick
AND
TAMIYA 1/48 Spitfire Mk.1-The new one!

She had no clue what to get but knows I love Spitfires.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The Matchbox Meteor NF has arrived and it's got an Aeroclub Meteor F8 conversion in it - result!

The listing mentioned it, along with a spare set of Aeroclue Meteor F8 canopies, but I didn't see it.

Stocked up on modelling requisites today.
Grey and white DIY superstore rattle can primer.
Gel Superglue.
5 Minute Epoxy.
A new pack of fishing weights from the outdoor activity superstore.
And from the motor parts shop I got four different silver rattle cans at 25% off.  Bargain!

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

My nice wife pointed me in the direction of a bargain;

1 x Trumpeter 1/72 M2A2 ODS/ODS-E Bradley IFV - who knows? I don't! :-\ Large remote control anti-IED vehicle? Though that may be a waste of the detailed 3/4 interior (all except the turret internals).
1 x Tamiya 1/35 M1046 Humvee TOW Missile Carrier - again, not sure, but it's in the right scale & can be beaten into something
1 x Trumpeter 1/35 ASLAV-PC Phase 3 - good chance it'll stay OoB, or be turned into a Police riot control vehicle, or an armoured ambulance ... or a tray-top ute

All that for $50 ain't bad!

Brassin 1/48 Storm Shadows
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The Wooksta!

Ebay says I've won the following:

CMR Spitfire F21 - first Spitfire I've bought in months!
CMR Swift FR5 - this is the older one that is either the basis of/copy of the Pagasus kit.  The nose is too short for an FR5 and thus it'll be used for another FB4/FGA4.

I think I have enough Swifts now.
