Ebay says I've won the other two old toold Bricks in the Gulf War boxing.  Really don't need any Buccaneers now

There probably aren't more to have, you've got them all.  ;D ;D ;) ;)

The Wooksta!

I doubt it!

In other news, I've won the Special Hobby Campire F1 I was bidding on.  For my money, this is *THE* Vampire kit to get, as it's got all of the bits for the various single seaters in one box - early and late tail booms, two different wingtips, Swiss long nose and a bang seat - don't know what type it is but I suspect Swiss or French as it's not one of Martin Baker's finest.  Plus drop tanks and underwing rockets.

Really, other than decals you've pretty much got everything there, so well worth ponying up the wadge.

I have won an ev!lbay auction for an Airfix 1:72 Mosquito Mk. XXIX/J30 kit, and I got hands on one of my personal holy grail kits (waited 30 years for this opportunity): an AT-AT-esque 1:720 "Dho Gards" mecha from Imai's "Megaro Zamac" line of kits - at a reaonable price, not the speculative price ideas of the usual sellers. Looks like TV merchandise, but these were just plastic models that jumped the Eighties' anime/mecha craze bandwagon.

This one will certainly be built!

From the eBay Fairy:

Tamiya 1/48 F-84G with PE and three aftermarket decal sets including US, French, and Danish aircraft.  All for $20!
Tamiya 1/20 Williams Honda F1.  My first ever F1 car.  I've picked up a couple of the old 80s and 90s Testors cars that I used to love as a kid lately.  Just a couple...Porsche 911, Ferrari Daytona, and a Lambourghini Diablo.  The Diablo arrived open and damaged when it was advertised as mint condition.  The guy was decent to work with and send a pic of all the cars he had available and told me to pick one and he'd send it.  This sounded like a fun change of pace and after looking at it, a new challenge.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

That Tamiya Williams-Honda is a terrific kit, I did one some years ago after seeing the real thing sat in foyer at Williams' HQ at Grove.

I just wish Tamiya had stayed with 1/24 scale instead of 'inventing' a new car scale, I suspect for monetary reasons.......

IIRC Tamiya choice of 1/20 for F1 cars was a box scale thing.
Is this the Alan Jones car AD?  The Bin Laden (Saudi Airlines) sponsored one?
I built one of them as a youth.

I received these from BNA model world today.

Flakvierling 38 to be mounted on something it wouldn't normally be mounted on.

'68 Chevy El Camino.  Which despite the retro box style is a '98 mould dating from the time AMT were producing some very nicely detailed and engineered models.  I've built one of these, they go together very well.

Lavochkin La-5.  Clear Prop's kits look interesting.  This one looks good in the box and includes a small PE sheet including UC doors, seatbelts and bomb fins amongst other parts.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I reckon Tamiya did it just to corner the market, but then I'm a died-in-the-wool cynic when it comes to Big Business!  ;)

No, the Alan Jones car was the earlier FW07 with a Cosworth engine, also sponsored by Leyland of all people!

The Williams Honda was the FW11, driven by Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet, usually aganst each other!  :o

Of course.  Duh!  My brain didn't register "HONDA".
One day i'll find an unbuilt FW07 and do it justice instead of gluebombing it and getting fingerprints in the paint.

The Tamiya FW07 is pretty darn good too, I built one of them as well.

Be interested in your considered views on this one Fred. I was looking at it for one of my next Big H orders.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

AZ/KPM are doing one too.  I'm quite tempted myself - post war Yugoslav or possibly North Korean.

Well this was a nice surprise! Waaay before Christmas, I back-ordered a 2nd edition Motorhead He 111 (the one that only has the Motorhead decals) from the Airfix website, but I heard nothing for ages, then it dropped out of my basket after the Airfix site went down for a bit, so I assumed it had fallen victim to the general COVID disruption.

Well, it rolled up this afternoon.

So I now have two kits and three decal sheets: two Motorhead ones and a normal one.

So one of the Motorhead ones is spare....

Kit is correct, this is the Mansell/Piquet kit.  I was a big Mansell fan back in the day, especially when he came over the pond and did an Indycar season, so it'll probably end up OOB as his ride.
