So we're just going to let that Gunperry contraption slide by?  ;D   Quite an odd thing...

It's probably best not to ask.  ;D

I've bought and paid for the Phalanx class ship from Madman's Shipyards.  Looking forward to it arriving now!

This is an unboxing of an early review sample:

Ebay says I've won the Pegasus Spiteful I put a cheeky low bid on.  Which is nice.  I got an Aeroclub and Frog Vampire bundle for very little, although quite what I wanted to do with it is anyone's guess, least of which is myself.

I also picked up an Avalon SAAF Spitfire decal sheet, although I mentioned that in my blog.

A Hasegawa Spitfire Mk. I and a Matchbox Hawker Fury (biplane) as kitbash fodder, then a Drawdecal 1:144 sheet for the to-be-civilized C-141, as well as a sheet with generic 1:144 door markings for the same job. I'll also have to visit my local model shop for paints, there's a bigger Star Wars whif project for a GB at another forum waiting for the bench.

Airfix Swift FR.5, which means:
- the Pegasus FR.5 plus Aeroclub improvement set that's been in the stash for ever but recently was slated to become an F.4 will be disposed of.
- the Xtrakit FR.5 that was going to be an FR.5 until Airfix came along so instead would become an F.7 with the Freightdog conversion will now become an F.4.
- the Airfix FR.5 already in the stash will become an F.7 with the Freightdog set.
- today's FR.5 will be an FR.5.

Cosmic order restored.

What? You're going to build it as its maker intended? Shock, horror!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I seem to be missing a pair of kits from my stash. I know I bought a pair of Academy F-18s at Telford last year. I wrote them up on my purchase list.

Can I find them now? Nope.

Is it possible that my stash is achieving some kind of mass overflow? Eddies in the space-time continuum?

During the search I did find some (actually several) kits I'd forgotten about. Which is a good thing, right?  ;)
But did I buy them or have they just materialised?

Happened to me a couple of weeks ago when i was going through the boxes where my stash is at the moment. I don't know if i can compare it to your stash but i have around 150 kits at the moment and this is what i have to go through to find something... ;D

EDIT: Looking at that pic now made me realize i could buy or build some kind of cupboard or storage cabinet to make it easy to find what i'm looking for...

See my reply to your L/M Space piece  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

And happened to me a lot too, only I've got 25+ boxes to look through. I could never remember what was in which box although I had written a clue on the top of each one like, 'All Airfix' or 'Hasegawa'. So last year I went through all the boxes making lists of what was in each box plus giving each box a number, now I just check the lists, find which box it's in and bingo, I find what I'm looking for really quickly.
Mind you, I haven't finished with the listing yet, still got a couple of boxes to go through, plus there's all the kits that aren't in a box ---  :o
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

My stash is stored on a series of shelves in the spare/model room. It's sorted by type (aircraft, armour etc) then by manufacturer and then by nationality of the kits markings and then by alphabetical order.

Yes I'm sad

In numbered boxes mostly by manufacturer but all accounted for on an Excel spreadsheet!  Just looked and 45% is Airfix - curse those new red box releases!!
