My stash used to be on shelves in my basement before my house move where it was all put in boxes for the move. Thirteen years later, they're still in the boxes ---  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Mine SHOULD be in The Loft, but now they're all over the house.  :banghead:

The only room without any kits is the kitchen I think.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

My bathroom is STUFFED with kits, but that's mainly because the entrance ladder to The Loft is at the far end of it, and the bathroom tends to act as a 'holding centre' for kits en route to or from The Loft.

Sometimes they just languish there of course.  ;D

I find model kit instructions to be a good read during toilet time... ;D

Which is nice.  I got an Aeroclub and Frog Vampire bundle for very little, although quite what I wanted to do with it is anyone's guess, least of which is myself.

Enough FROG Vampires for a twin Goblin whif?

Won a PM Model Su-15 single seater at ev!lbbay for just EUR 2,50,-. Will end up in the donor bank.

Also trying to get my hands on a late 1:72 Panzer III, but this turns out to be more demanding than expected!

My stash is stored on a series of shelves in the spare/model room. It's sorted by type (aircraft, armour etc) then by manufacturer and then by nationality of the kits markings and then by alphabetical order.

Yes I'm sad

In numbered boxes mostly by manufacturer but all accounted for on an Excel spreadsheet!

The spreadsheet that it's on was originally done on Lotus 123 as that was British Steel/Corus used prior to my retirement and it's also what I'm comfortable with. Luckily you can get it to work using Excel (which I really don't like) although you lose some functionality. I did have a plan to actually build a database and then use that in various ways, but that fell by the wayside eons ago, or at least 12 years ago when I retired
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I managed to bag a bargain with the new Revell 1/72 Avro Shackleton MR.3.

Have you  tried  Plastic Soldier Company . They do Panzer III J/M/N  variant although  it's  aimed more at war gamers I think

:o Wow... that is a bargain, no doubt... is that price including postage, Dizzy? Don't know if it's because the stuff i buy on ebay is always from outside of Portugal but 2,50€ doesn't even cover the postage of the best bargains i've found on there...

No, just the kit itself, but with EUR 2,70,- postage on top it's still a good deal for the kit.

Well, I watch out for either an ESCI or Dragon kit of a late Panzer III model, because they come with a "real" running gear and vinyl tracks. I am not a fan of these wargamer tank kits with molded wheels/tracks, would not work with my plans, either. Also had an eye on Revell's new Panzer III Ostwind (a re-boxing of the Mako kit, despite its segmented IP tracks), but it's too expensive for my taste. The kit will be heavily modified, anyway, so I keep watching. No urgency, just an idea that calls for hardware.
