Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

PR19_Kit

An Airfix B-N Islander kit from Chrisonord's sale, which took FIVE WEEKS to get to me from Cumbria! :banghead:

I could have walked there and back in that time, goodness knows what the PO were doing with it!!

And a Hasegawa XF5U-1 Flying Pancake, one of my 'Holy Grail' kits.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

:o :o :o That's absurd... that Tucano prop replacement took 2 weeks from Stoke on Trent to the south of Portugal... Really makes one wonder what was the delay about.

I used to live in Carlisle until 5 1/2 years ago. If you do go north, you can take my place as Whiffworld ambassador to the far North!!

Ah, that explains it: it's the customs tariffs and inspections at the Lancashire/Cheshire border that held it up. Chris probably didn't fill in page 17 of the end-user document properly...

Ah yes, that'd be it.

Sending round the world the other way would have been faster, then it wouldn't have had to cross that border.......

None of these. Poor old Royal Mail had to go and buy a boat to get it through the various floods, that's if the post box hadn't floated away in the first place  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
