Picked up for the local Post Office and the sorting office the following

! x 1/72 Masegawa Ju 188A/E to be real world but not necessarily as per the box.

1 x 1/72 Special Hobby SMB-2 Super Mystere / Sa'ar Dual Pack & Book   This means I now have four of the Special Hobby kits of the SMB-2/Sa'ar kits which allows me to do all three operators and both engine versions in Israeli service as well in various colour schemes too. Lots of bits left over as well. Several of those bing Napalm tanks

The book looks interesting, with many good photos.

And if I had hung on and waited I could have ordered from eBay for almost £9 cheaper  :banghead:

Just ordered from BNA Model World in Melbourne:

1 x Special Hobby 1/72 French Breguet Br.693AB.2 Attack-Bomber (SH72396)
1 x Special Hobby 1/72 Boston Mk.IV/V "The Last Version in RAF and Free French Service" (SH72413)
1 x Hasegawa Models 1/72 Kawasaki Ki48-II Type 99 Light Bomber Lily (Box Damaged) (HA 02287-DA)
1 x Yahu Models 1/72 Mosquito NF Mk.II / FB Mk.VI Instrument Panel for Hasegawa/Tamiya kits (YMA7260)

Oh you continue to tread the path of righteousness as regards scale I see  As you know I'm a big fan of Yahu

I've got the Breguet and the Boston and they are nice kits, require a little work, but only the same as most SH kits of that period.

Only in regard to some WW2 twin-engined bombers. ;D I'm blaming you if it doesn't work!

Good to know.

A four pack of decals from the Big H arrived at my 'temporary home' just now, mostly white letters of various sizes but also some Aeronavale markings for the Mirage F1P.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Having converted an unexpected windfall into a $50 Ebay voucher I today received these from Metro Hobbies in Melbourne.

More amphibious Aussie armour.

And this which I built as a youth.  Back then I was probably attracted by the number of guns mounted on it.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Corgi Major Chubb Pathfinder Airport Crash Truck; no hose but everything else is in good condition,  just needs a battery  :banghead:

How about a post-war Burmese air force Mohawk? Later replaced by Spitfires and Sea Furies...  ;)

From a radio control shop in Queensland I received a number of Testors Model Master enamels.  All the US automotive engine colours I was after except for Hemi Orange - Chrysler, Ford, GM & Pontiac Blues, Ford & GM Oranges and Chrysler Red.
All sent through the post in one parcel without anything exploding or spontaneously combusting.
